Nothing really change in the format compared with the past others, but the review of the subjects is great.

5 out of 5 stars Mandell, Douglas, and Bennett's Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases: Expert Consult Preium Edition   March 3, 2010

As a relatively new infection prevention nurse, I decided I needed a more in-depth text for infectious diseases. Since I don't have ready access to an ID physician, this is an excellent resource, thorough, with useful and descriptive diagrams and illustrations. The on-line text is superb, with comprehensive, easy to use search capability. The texts are heavy, so it is especially appreciated to have the on-line source so that I don't have to carry the books back and forth to work each day. I am also using it to help supplement my study for the Certification Exam in Infection Control. I recommend it highly to anyone in infection prevention and control as a valuable resource in performing their role.

5 out of 5 stars Reference   March 2, 2010
Rodrigo Daniel De Souza (Juiz de Fora, Brazil)
After several issues I was surprised with the quality of material used, and of course the content.

For several years the reference group of specialists in infectious diseases.

To use one single language, without affecting its scientific content, remains accessible to those who do not read English so well.

Recommended for everyone from beginner to expert.

The inclusion of the digital format has allowed us to take thousands of pages there is any place where there is a computer without any weight load.

Waiting for what? Buy!

5 out of 5 stars The gold standard of Infectious Disease texts   December 3, 2009

Always improving content, online companion that goes with the text. THE ID text of choice. The cover art is the only part that is worse than previous editions.
